Paris Public Library will be open until 4pm on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. There will be no storyhour that morning. The library will be closed Thanksgiving Day and open regular hours on Friday and Saturday. Happy Thanksgiving!
Friends of the Paris Library will host the sixth annual “Christmas at the Library” on Thursday, December 4.
Children aged 8 and younger (accompanied by a parent) are invited to stop by Paris Public Library from 6pm to 7pm to visit with Santa and Mishka the Christmas Dog. Parents are welcome to bring their cameras to take a photo of their child with Santa. Friends will give each child a small book as long as supplies last.
This is an "open house" hour so families may come and go as their schedule permits.
The holiday sale table of like-new books for adults and children and other items will open that evening. Shop for a nice book, bookbag, or a library centennial ornament as a stocking stuffer or gift exchange. This sale near the upstairs desk will continue during regular library hours through December 23.
