Paris Carnegie Public Library is closed on the following holidays/special days. If a legal holiday falls on a Sunday, the library is closed the following Monday.

New Year's Day
Presidents' Day
Memorial Day
Independence Day

Labor Day
Honeybee Festival Saturday
Columbus Day

Thanksgiving Day
Christmas Eve
Christmas Day

In addition, the library closes for one floating Staff Work Day, usually a legal holiday on which the library may be expected to be closed. In 2012, Martin Luther King Day was designated as such.
