The regularly scheduled meeting of the Board of Trustees was called to order at 4:30 p.m. by President George Griffin.  In attendance were Mary Taylor, Karen Earlywine, Evie Gill, Greg McHenry, Roxanne Michels and Librarian Teresa Pennington.  Absent were Trustees Susan Punzelt, Sharon Farris and Ginny English.

Minutes of Previous Meeting:  MOTION:  McHenry, second Earlywine to approve March 14 minutes.  Motion carried.

Correspondence, communications and public comments:  None.

Finance Report:  MOTION:  McHenry, second Gill to approve the March report, to recognize March checks and deposits and invoices for payment, and to authorize the purchase of 25 adult fiction, three adult non-fiction, 19 children’s fiction, and four children’s non-fiction from Baker & Taylor.  Motion carried.
*Pennington shared a letter from Unique Management Services explaining their expanded Gentle Nudge process for recovering library debt.
*Pennington shared information regarding proposed changes in the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
*Our library was awarded $6,812.00 for the FY2016 Illinois Public Library Per Capita Grant.

Book Committee:  No report.

House Committee:  McHenry will contact Bill Gosnell from Art Reese Company for advice about repairing downspouts.

Nominating Committee:  MOTION:  McHenry, second Gill for all current officers to continue in their respective positions.  Motion carried.

Librarian’s Report (Statistics):  MOTION:  Michels, second Earlywine to approve the March report.  Motion carried.  Members read the March Review.

Friends:  No report.

Old Business:  Pennington reported that PayPal is not an affordable option for patrons to pay fines in the SHARE catalog.
New Business:  MOTION:  McHenry, second Michels to approve the proposed budget for the fiscal year beginning May 1, 2016.  Motion carried.
*Pennington received a proposed printer maintenance cost schedule from RK Dixon.  Our current costs are cheaper so we will stay with our current supplier.
Miscellaneous:  The Paris High School yearbooks on CDs for years 1910 through 1926 from OCI arrived.  Our library and Edgar County Genealogy Library will each get a copy on CD.
