June 6    Showtime Colors
Make kaleidoscopes and explore colors & light.
June 13    Animal Avengers
Is it a bird? A plane? No – it’s a bat! A spider! Animals with “superpowers!” Craft and live animal visit. Presented by Douglas-Hart Nature Center.
June 20   Set the Scene
Take on the role of set engineer by using models of simple machines and teamwork to solve stage challenges – how to make an actor fly, build a set that moves, or lift heavy objects onto a stage. Presented by Terre Haute Children’s Museum.
June 27    Strut Your Stuff
Get acquainted with the best show on Earth . . . show-stopping animals like the beautiful peacock. Strut your stuff during this nature-inspired program. Craft and live animal visit. Presented by Douglas-Hart Nature Center.

SPECIAL EVENTS
June 1    Act Like a Star — 1:00-2:00     3rd-8th grades
Learn some acting tricks and tools so that you can act like your favorite superstar on the street or on the stage. Whether you want to be a famous actor someday or just act like you are famous, we’ll teach you how to strut your stuff, find a character and talk so that everyone will want to listen. Presented by Stone Soup Shakespeare, in the library.
June 18    Tops & Bottoms: Gardening — 2:00-3:00     Post-K through 6th grades
Have fun learning about gardening. Presented by Kim Trine.
June 29    Learn to Crochet — 10:30-12:30     3rd —8th grades
Small group class to learn the basics of crocheting. Supplies furnished. Taught by Michelle Griffin.
