Paris Public Library launches its Read for the Win! summer reading program on June 8. During June and July, the library will host free activities for ages 3-13 that encourage and support a love of reading and learning.

Summer reading should be fun - without any pressure or expectations - so this year there's no counting books, pages, or minutes. No keeping track of what is read. Just reading for pleasure and enjoying some library activities. Registration is not required.

Activities include visits from Douglas-Hart Nature Center, games, a Froggy storytime, and more. Read for the Win! concludes with a Family Fun Night on July 26. The full program schedule is also available at the library.

A series of short do-it-yourself activities will also be featured at the library during the summer.  These will include puzzles, games, coloring pages, or simple crafts that may be done any time during regular library hours.
