Adults and teens are invited to participate in Paris Public Library's first Winter Reading program between February 1 and April 9, 2016. “Chill Out and Read” is a fun way for local teen and adult readers to beat the winter blahs by discovering what’s at the library. Pick up a card at the library or download it.

A card has 25 squares, each with a different category of book. When you read a book matching a category, write its title in the square.  Ebooks count, too! Fill in the rows like a Bingo game—diagonal, across, or top to bottom. Each square can only be used once.

When you’ve completed a row (like Bingo), fill in the information at the bottom and return the card to the checkout desk. You are welcome to take another and read more, but if you repeat a square from a previous card, you must read a different title.

Five names will be drawn for prizes at the Friends of the Paris Library meeting on April 12. Only one prize per winner. You do not have to be present to win. Prizes are gift cards from local businesses - Smoke Trail BBQ, Red’s Fun Zone, Kroger, Tuscany Steak and Pasta House, and Subway. Winners must pick up their prize at Paris Public Library by April 20.

Friends of the Paris Library created our Chill Out and Read card and sought donations for prizes.
