The regularly scheduled meeting of the Board of Trustees was called to order at 4:30 p.m. by President Greg McHenry.  In attendance were Mary Taylor, George Griffin, Roxanne Michels, Aaron Rhoads and Librarian Teresa Pennington.  Absent were Trustees Ryan Fehrmann, Sharon Farris, Susan Punzelt, and Amy McGilvrey.

Minutes of Previous Meeting:  MOTION:  Michels, second Griffin to approve May 13 Meeting minutes as read, and Special Meeting of June 3 minutes as corrected.  The correction is as follows:  in the motion, change the phrase “painting wood surfaces” to “painting wood and metal surfaces.”  Motion carried.

Finance Report:  MOTION:  Rhoads, second Michels to approve report, to recognize May 2013 checks and deposits, and to authorize the purchase of 21 adult fiction, five adult nonfiction, 18 children’s fiction and three children’s non-fiction titles from Baker & Taylor for $561.48.  Motion carried.

Book Committee:  No report.

House Committee:  Pennington reported that @ Plumbing repaired the men’s restroom toilet.

Librarian’s Report (Statistics):  MOTION:  Griffin, second Taylor to approve report.  Motion carried.

Friends of the Library:  Pennington reported that 120 people attended Shakespeare in the Park, and the reception following went well.

Unfinished Business:  Pennington, McHenry and Griffin will meet with Bob Colvin on Monday, June 17 at 4:30 p.m. so he can explain the bidding process for the upcoming exterior renovation work.  All board members may attend.

New Business:  MOTION:  Rhoads, second Griffin for the library to participate in the nonresident fee program and adopt the annual fee of $32 per nonresident.  Motion carried. 
*MOTION:  Michels, second Griffin to approve the annual report.  Motion carried.

Librarian’s Announcements:  Eric Curry will present a program on postcards on June 24 at 6:00 p.m., and Molly Bellamy will present the program “Travel the National Road” July 8 at 6:30 p.m., both at the library.
