Shakespeare in the Park
The audience is encouraged to bring nonperishable food items to be collected for the local Compassionate Food Ministry. Bring your lawn chairs and join the fun. Following the performance, Friends of Paris Library invite the audience to an after-party in Spicer Pavillion to meet the actors and enjoy some refreshments. An actor's workshop for sixth graders through adults will be at 2pm that afternoon at Paris Public Library. Stone Soup actors will show you how to have fun with Shakespeare. Summer Reading Club is a fun way to encourage reading and spark new interests. Each week features games, arts & crafts, or special guests. Storyhour Thursdays in June Four sessions of listening to stories, simple crafts, and other fun. Ages 3, 4, and 5 10:30--11:15. Limit of 25 children. Summer student volunteersThe library will need a limited number of student volunteers (7th grade and older) to assist with the summer reading club on Tuesdays June 11 - July 9 and storyhour on Thursdays June 6-27. If interested, complete an application and return it to the library by May 20 in order to be considered. |
