Library will be closed July 4

Postcard collector Eric Curry will talk about the history of postcards and postcard collecting in the library's Gibson Room on June 24, at 6pm. He will also share his collection of over 5,000 postcards dating back to the early 1900s.

Postcards are the third most collected paper items in the world. Join us for a glimpse into the past and a look at one of today's most popular hobbies.

Join us in the library's Gibson Room on July 8, at 6:30pm as we travel across Illinois on the National Road.

Molly Bellamy of the National Road Association of Illinois will talk about the road and its history.

Summer Reading Club is a fun way to encourage reading and spark new interests. Each week features games, arts & crafts, or special guests. Register by phone or in person at the library.

Four sessions of listening to stories, simple crafts, and other fun. Ages 3, 4, and 5 at 10:30--11:15. Please call or come in to register.
