The regularly scheduled meeting of the Board of Trustees was called to order at 4:30 p.m. by President Greg McHenry. In attendance were Mary Taylor, George Griffin, Roxanne Michels, Ryan Fehrmann, Aaron Rhoads, Sharon Farris and Librarian Teresa Pennington. Absent were Trustees Amy Hannig and Susan Punzelt.
Minutes of Previous Meeting: MOTION: Griffin, second Michels to approve February 9 minutes as read. Motion carried.
Finance Report: MOTION: Michels, second Farris to approve February report, to recognize February checks and deposits and invoices for payment, and to authorize the purchase of 22 adult fiction, seven adult non-fiction, 15 children’s fiction and six children’s non-fiction titles from Baker & Taylor. Motion carried.
Book Committee: No report.
House Committee: Pennington reported that Express Electric replaced the motor for the restroom vent fans and Ray’s Lock Shop replaced the lock/handle on the men’s restroom door.
*The library has received the Knox Box, and Doug Johnson will install it in warmer weather.
Librarian’s Report (Statistics): MOTION: Fehrmann, second Griffin to approve the January report. Motion carried.
*Board members looked at the February Review—highlights, and more behavior problems.
Friends of the Library: Pennington reported that the library will host Curtis Johnson on Tuesday, March 17 at 6 p.m. as he presents Early Gunsmiths of Edgar County.
*Amy Hannig will host a book discussion of True Grit on March 21 at 2 p.m.
*The Friends made $1034.00 from the annual book sale.

New Business: Griffin and Michels volunteered to comprise the nominating committee, and Griffin and Fehrmann volunteered to comprise the budget committee.
*Because of continuing behavior problems and vandalism, board members acknowledged the need for added security. MOTION: Griffin, second Michels, for the library to purchase a drop down camera to record real-time, for a cost of around $200. Motion carried.
