Paris Public Library is operating within Illinois Tier 3 restrictions that began on Nov. 20. We plan to continue as we are but will monitor conditions and return to only curbside if needed or advised. We do encourage you to use our curbside services now and to limit public computer use to what’s necessary. Wear a mask in the library.
Open Monday 10-2. Tuesday 10-6, and Wednesday–Saturday 10-2.
- Short inside visits to choose and check out items, fax, or make copies
- Public computers and time limited
- Curbside pickup/service is available and encouraged
- Wearing a mask (covering nose and mouth) and social distancing required while in library.
You can still request items from our library and other libraries. Call us or use the SHARE catalog. Delivery is slower than usual because most libraries in the state are quarantining returned items for several days. No late fees on returned items. Fees for damaged or lost items will be charged.
What’s not available right now? Newspapers, meeting rooms, or programs. To accommodate social distancing needs, furniture has been rearranged or removed.
