Use the form below to register for a temporary library card to access Paris Carnegie Public Library’s digital resources. If you already have a card or it is expired, do not use this form – use our contact form. You must live within the city limits of Paris or in the Paris District 95 or Crestwood Unit 4 school district to be eligible for a temporary card.
Paris Carnegie Public Library staff are currently working limited hours and will do their best to respond to requests within 24 hours Monday through Friday. Staff will email your temporary card number.
Temporary cards will be valid for 30 days after the Illinois Stay at Home order expires. You may not check out physical materials with this card.
If you would like to transition the temporary card to a regular card, please visit the library within 30 days of reopening to complete the application process. The physical card must be picked up at the main desk of the library. Bring your driver’s license or other government issued photo I.D. when picking up your card as proof of identity and address. If your address is incorrect on your ID, also bring a recent bill or piece of mail as proof of address.
