Paris Public Library is open for brief visits on Monday 10-2, Tuesday 10-6, Wednesday-Saturday 10-2. We hope to extend hours as staff capacity and safety measures permit.
For the health and safety of everyone: Masks are required while in the library building. Do not visit the library if you have any symptoms of illness – use curbside or online resources instead. High-touch surfaces are disinfected on a regular basis. Computer keyboards and mice are cleaned between each use. Restrooms are cleaned at the end of each day.
Only 2 public computers are currently available due to social distancing requirements. Appointments are encouraged. Limit one session per day, per person (1 hour if someone is waiting, 2 hours if no one is waiting). No headphones will be provided. One-on-one staff computer assistance will be minimal. Printing, copies, laminating, and faxing are available.
You can request items from our library and other libraries. Call us or use the SHARE catalog. Delivery is slower than usual because most libraries in the state are quarantining returned items for 7 days. Late fees are not being charged.
What’s not available right now? Newspapers, meeting rooms, or programs. To accommodate social distancing needs, furniture has been rearranged or removed.
Should public health conditions deteriorate, public health agencies advise, or safety measures in the library warrant, the library will return to curbside service only.
