Curbside services now available

Paris Public Library has started the process of reopening in phases, beginning with the dropbox and curbside service. The library building is not open for visits at this time.

Mon-Fri.  10am – 2pm
Saturday 10am – 1pm

Call 217-463-3950 during the above hours. At other times you may email, message us on Facebook, or go to your SHARE library account to request items. IHLS Delivery resumes July 6. Out-of-system interlibrary loan is not available yet.

Staff will call you when your pickup is ready.

Call us when you park in library lot. If you don’t have a mobile phone, tell us that when we call you so we can make other arrangements to know when you arrive. Your items will be brought to your vehicle.

We are sending late notices as reminders to return items. We are not charging overdue fees yet – notices by phone, email, or text are just to remind you to return items. The dropbox is now available for returns.  Items will be quarantined several days before being checked in so don’t worry if you don’t see them disappear from your online SHARE account for a while.

Please do not use the dropbox to donate items.

Printing from your phone

You may email a document to read@parispubliclibrary.org to be printed and picked up. Please include your name and phone number in the email so staff can contact you when it’s ready.

Meeting rooms are not available.

Thank you for your patience. This phased reopening was developed over the past weeks with advice from Illinois Heartland Library System and Illinois Library Association and has been approved by Edgar County Health Department.
