Nina Dulin Russell

Russell served as the first assistant librarian from 1924 to 1929, when she took over as head librarian from Leota Price. Russell held the post until 1961. She is the second longest-serving director to date, after Teresa Pennington. Russell trained as a librarian at the University of Illinois.
